WebBlack Mesa is not a completely faithful recreation, but it looks more like Half Life 2, and it connects to Half-Life 2 better. Half-Life is the OG. It has more fun and engaging gameplay, better AI, and some better level design. Ignore the platforming in the last three chapters, it's absolutely awful.
