WebEssentially clan weapons have extended range and big weight/slot space reductions. In some cases there are other benefits but thats the jist of it. The IS +++ weapons are very good and some cases it is worth using them over a clan weapon, but mostly I find the weight savings trump acc or damage boosts. The exception might be LRMs.
